Following the traditional SDW New Year's Day 10m TT a bench was unveiled in memory of the late Warwick "Spider" Dunford.
Warwick was a hugely influential member of SDW for over 40 years and helped shape the club as we know it today.
The bench is located at Haffenden Quarter near Smarden which was historically where the KCA 12 hour TT started, an event that was very dear to Warwick and so a fitting location for his memorial bench.
In those days San Fairy Ann CC used to provide the catering of food and refreshments for the riders and marshalls in a tent - that was before the days when village halls became popular.
